Baxter County Library

Since 1953, the Baxter County Library has grown along with the community and continuously provided books, information, programs, and services. At the beginning of a new millennium, the library has all the tools you need to explore the world - from reference materials to classic films and from great literature to free public Internet access. Today the library offers more resources and services than ever so citizens of all ages can experience the magic that has meant so much to generations of people. Following is a sample of the services we provide: Reference questions(general information, genealogy, Arkansas history, etc.) We answer "ready reference" phone queries as well. Interlibrary loans for books and materials we don't own. Postage charges on these are $2.00 per item, payable in advance. If we cannot locate the item, the amount will be refunded.
