InterVasc is a practice made up of specially trained doctors that provides the latest alternatives to open surgery. InterVasc is one of the few centers of its kind in the country. We see patients and perform procedures in our office as well as at Bay Medical Center and Gulf Coast Medical Center. Our doctors are experts in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Interventional radiologists are doctors who specialize in minimally invasive, targeted treatments performed using imaging for guidance. They use their expertise in reading X-ray, ultrasound, MRI and other diagnostic imaging, to guide tiny instruments, such as catheters, through blood vessels or through the skin to treat diseases without surgery. Our procedures have less risk, less pain and much faster recovery time compared to conventional surgery. The team is led by Scott Ramey, M.D. who is a Board Certified Vascular and Interventional Radiologist, with over 22 years experience. He trained at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and University of Florida Gainesville. Dr. Ramey is joined by W. Scott Campbell, M.D. who is fellowship trained in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Miami and has over 17 years of experience. Bay Radiology has been serving Bay County since 1958. You or a member of your family may have been referred to an interventional radiologist for treatment.
