We are a web application company in Montpelier, Vermont focused on two verticals - voter/election systems and healthcare management applications. Over our 13 year history, we have remained flexible in our choice of development language. In our early years, we wrote mainly desktop applications in C or C++. As the world migrated to the web, we migrated too and we built up our Java expertise. We also developed PHP (and Drupal) expertise for smaller projects. Over the last five years, our team has developed expertise in rapid software development frameworks such as Java/Grails and Ruby. As part of this process, most of our team has become skilled in both Java/Grails and Ruby development. We choose the appropriate tool on a project by project basis. We use Agile Development precepts on all our projects - which is a perfect fit with both frameworks. We love doing what we do. Within our domains, we have experience working on many different types of problems including messaging, data and system integration, reporting, charting and visualization, algorithm optimization, data scraping, collaborative filtering, natural language processing, classification and data parsing. Although we are focused on the voter/election and healthcare management domains, we have deep experience working on complicated enterprise systems in many domains including classified systems, media intelligence applications, transportation logistics, customer relationship management systems and social network monitoring. We have deep experience working on system integration work and work that revolves around RESTful APIs and data sharing.
