Lao Brewery Co Ltd was established in 1973 and is now a joint venture company owned by the Carlsberg Group and the Lao government. The company has grown significantly over the past 20 years and now has more than 2500 employees. It is highly rated in Laos. The flagship of the company is Beerlao - a strong national beer brand with a 95% market share that has received international awards for quality.
