Bee Robotics Ltd is a privately owned company based in North Wales, UK, and was established in November 1999. The company occupies four industrial units, which houses its manufacturing and design facilities. The company has become well established in the automation of molecular and Western Blot strip based assays, and more recently, expanding into other fields of automation, offering OEM solutions to a wide range of clients. Bee first exhibited at MEDICA in 2002, which has since become its base for meeting existing and new clients, to discuss their automation requirements, in various fields. Bee has become well known in the robotics industry, working closely with their clients to develop the right products, in a timely manner, from concept to market. Many clients have returned, to further enhance their automation requirements, which speaks volumes for the company. Bee has been expanding and growing steadily, and in 2006 employed more graduates in mechanical and electronic engineering, to modernise our products, and introduce our next generation instruments, offering more advanced electronics and software, with a modular approach to mechanical designs. Bee has invested heavily in R&D over the years, and continuous to keep up to date with the latest technologies, to ensure that we have the best tools for product development. High on our priority list is quality and reliability, and we support our own instruments in the UK and the Republic of Ireland, to ensure that we are well averse with any issues that may arise in the field making sure that our products are performing to our high standards, and client expectations. Bee is also familiar with the requirements of CE, UL, CSA, SFDA and IVD approvals, and has recently been certified to ISO 9001/13485 standards. Bee has gained a vast experience in the design and manufacture of robotic instruments, with Mr. Steve Jones, Managing Director, and Mr. Alwyn Morus, Executive Director, being involved with robotic instruments, since the late 1980's. The company has achieved several awards over the years, with the most recent award being achieved in 2009 for Growth Through Innovation. The company is well positioned to become one of the leading instrument design and manufacturing companies, offering bespoke automation for the modern laboratory.
