Berman Creative
Berman Creative was founded in April 2002 in the wake of the dot-com bust. We've created brand strategies and visual identities, advertising, print and web solutions for a wide variety of consumer and B2B clients. You can see some of it here. We believe Jeff Berman is the only creative director in the U.S. who holds a degree in astrophysics. After discovering what astrophysicists actually do for a living, Jeff left the University of Chicago for an advertising job at Leo Burnett Company. Jeff worked at Ogilvy & Mather (in New York) and Mullen (in Massachusetts), on accounts including Hershey's, American Express, Lipton, Procter & Gamble, BMW and Timberland, before deciding that starting up a clothing brand looked fun and profitable. Five years of sweating over the briefly successful Shankbone ("Fine Apparel for Degenerates") gave Jeff a crash course in the realities of owning and running a business. Since returning as a writer, Jeff has crafted solutions for The Boston Globe and Boston.com, Tivoli Audio, Sony, Timex, New Balance, Iron Mountain, Novell, Genzyme, Boston Scientific, Thermo Electron, and ARC, among many others.
