The Club offers young people what they need and want most: adults who respect and listen to them; a safe environment where they can be themselves and have fun, interesting, and constructive activities that channel youthful energy into challenging pursuits. All BGCNAL programs are based on a youth development strategy which underlies all Boys & Girls Club programs and fosters senses of belonging, competence, usefulness and influence, building self-confidence and self-esteem. BGCNAL is part of a nationwide organization that is working to help young people of all backgrounds develop the qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders.
