Billings Hardware was founded in 1902, long before the big box stores of Home Depot, Lowe's and Ace, by Jacob Fisher, and William A. Selvige, to serve the needs of the Northern Pacific Railroad, and a growing community. Times were tough in what many still considered the old west, and Billings Hardware became a leader for having knowledgeable guest service clerks, great product selection, and a "fair deal". Over the years trends have changed, product advancements have been made, and the shopping experience is a bit different with our on-the-go lifestyles. Even in change we continue holding to our foundations by employing and developing knowledgeable guest service clerks, having a product selection like no other retail store in the area, and continually searching for price points that will exceed the growing demand of consumers.
