Bnix

BNIX (Belgian National Internet eXchange) is the heart of the Belgian Internet. The high-performance BNIX network is where Internet service providers (ISPs), Internet content providers and large private companies exchange IP traffic in Belgium. The BNIX network has been managed since 1995 by Belnet - the Belgian national research network, and since June 2010 has a new, high-capacity platform that is responsive to future developments and that saves energy. BNIX currently has more than 40 participants including Belgacom, Telenet, VRT and Dexia.
