Böhme & Weihs once again supported the "Deutschlandstipendium" (Germany Scholarship) program at the University of Wuppertal during the sponsorship year 2020/2021. For several years now, we have been promoting dedicated students in the Information Technology department. Currently, we are supporting scholarship holder Sandro Wahl through this sponsorship and are pleased to be able to assist him. For Böhme & Weihs, promoting young talent is an integral part of a sustainable society. In addition to our internship and apprenticeship positions, the Germany Scholarship program enables us to make it easier for students in the field of Information Technology to embark upon their studies and take up their careers later on. Half of the Germany Scholarship program is funded by private sponsors and the other half by the Federal government. Students at the universities participating in the program are eligible to apply. In addition to good grades, social commitment and special personal achievements - for example, having overcome the hurdles along one's own private and professional path - also count when the scholarships are awarded.
