Vessel Auction is a Register Auctioneer Ships & Pleasure Yachts (Federation of Valuers, Brokers and Auctioneers in Movable Goods). How does Vessel Auction work? The term of the auction is 2, 3, or 4 weeks. Boats are directly brought to the attention of thousands of registered bidders. After the inspection day the online auction is closed. Each bid is irrevocable and unconditional. The client has the final decision whether the boat is or is not sold to the high bidder. The auction costs are paid by the buyer; the seller only pays an auction fee. A boat is sold in the condition it is at the time that the bid is awarded ("as is where is").
