Edinburgh based Borders Journeys provides friendly private guided sightseeing, ancestral and Outlander tours of Scotland. I recognise that for many of you this may be a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit Scotland. My emphasis is upon making your stay welcoming and an experience you'll enjoy and will always remember. Your tour with me is a wonderful way to discover the beauty, history and culture of Scotland. I will take you off the beaten track to visit historic towns, you will walk in the grounds and ornate rooms of fairy-tale castles or simply marvel at the magnificence of Scotland's lochs, mountains and coastlines. In such out of the way places you will find beautiful local crafts, including traditional woollen and cashmere products, before resting your feet and enjoying home baking and hospitality at village tea rooms. I know that you want to spend your time sightseeing rather than just travelling, so we stop regularly for refreshments and photographs.
