After 7th grade Boris was accepted at the National Comprehensive School "Sofia" with specialized Business Administration studies. When 8th grade Boris met the Junior Achievement Foundation Programs for the first time and started with his classmates a Student Enterprise as an extracurricular activity. The first student company was named Junior Team and Boris was voted as the CEO. The 13 year old students succeeded to compete on the national competition of the Student enterprises where won the award for "The Best Marketing Plan". During the next few year in high school the students succeeded to win all important national awards for student companies even the "Best Student Company Award" for two years in a row. In 2005, just 15 years old, the students won the 3rd place award for The Best Student Company in Europe in the annual European Trade Fair of the Student Companies of Junior Achievement Young Enterprise in Brussels. Outside the student enterprise, Boris turned out to be a talented guitar player and skillful young programmer coding in PHP, HTML, JavaScript & Action Script (Flash) while still in high school. In 2005 year, still in 9th grade, Boris together with the friends from the student company founded the ForumsLeague - The national soccer championship of the internet forums communities. The ForumsLeague succeeded to become quickly one of the most active amateur sport events in the country with more than 600 people playing every weekend, 10 months in the year. During his school life Boris spent part of his free time in voluntary help to different organizations as Junior Achievement, Red Cross and helping orphan kids educational projects as well. Boris became active member in the JA-YE Alumni Business Club and was elected as first as a PR Manager and then as a President (National Coordinator) and became part of the European Board of the organization. When finishing high school, Boris committed all his free time applying to US Ivy League Universities to continue his education, while a tragic event hit the family. Just a week before the Boris's Prom Evening he lost his father, Nikolay Kolev during a surgery after a medical negligence when healing a broken leg in a hospital in Pleven. After this event Boris had to forget about the US Universities and quickly find a well-paid job to be able take care of his little sister and helping his mother.
