Boss Freight Terminal CFS is a wholly Kenyan owned company. When it opened its CFS gates for business in April 2006 a whole new approach to vehicle handling was introduced to the market. Vehicles are transferred quickly and safely from the ship to our very secure Mbaraki yard. Office processes based on fully computerised systems and friendly, well trained staff ensures hassle free quick clearance from the CFS. Inspection and verification of your vehicle is done at each step of the process guaranteeing that the condition of your vehicle on handover is just as it arrived on the ship - at vessel ramp, on transfer from the port, into the CFS, Upon exit when we hand over your vehicle condition is verified again. Capable of accommodating more than 2,500 vehicles in a high security CFS we cater for importers clearing their vehicles through Customs for Kenya and vehicles in transit to Uganda, Tanzania, S Sudan, DR Congo and neighbours. Since opening we've handled over 154,000 vehicles from 1,400 ships averaging over 110 vehicles per vessel, and with many vessels between 700 to 1,000 vehicles. .
