Brooklyn Melodies Music Center

Brooklyn Melodies Music Center was founded in 2007 by Mr. Laith Michel undertaking an ambitious program of education in music and dance for children and adults. The primary idea was to create environment and provide tuition for everyone interested in music,to develop their musical potential by means of the highest quality music education. The school started in Mirdif with a handful of enthusiastic musicians, teaching piano, guitar and drums, and some interested in music students. Already in a few months the first students performed in the school recital and successfully passed international examinations. This gave an invaluable boost to perfectioning our teaching methods and setting high criteria to further development. The School has expanded to 8 branches in Dubai's most convenient communities, and now educates more than 1000 students of all ages and skill levels. The number of students taken and passed international examinations reached 600, most of them with distinction and merit. The school concert, held twice a year, has grown from a humble gathering of students' families to great performances in Dubai Mall and other venues, involving huge number of students, playing in various set-ups and styles, and attracting wide audience. The range of instruments taught now comprises piano, guitar (classical, electric and bass),violin, flute, drums, percussions, as well as vocal studies. Along with Music, also tuition in Dance, namely Ballet, Modern and Latin Dance, is available.All students have an oppurtinity of pursuing additional activities, such as a chance to sing in one of two choirs or join an Ensemble, as well as participate in annual recitals and other stage performances. We take high pride in such results as it inspires us to improve even more and thrive towards achieving further and higher goals. Central to our mission is a passion for excellence.
