Buffco Production

Buffco Production Inc. was established in 1981 by Frank M. Bufkin III, and is a family owned, privately held operating company with a focus on domestic onshore oil & gas exploration and production activities. Mr. Bufkin started by purchasing marginal properties from major integrated producers and increasing the commercial life by performing work overs and reviving the wells. In addition to acquiring leases and oil & gas drilling, Buffco Production participates in joint development partnerships and non-operated investments. Currently, Buffco operates more than 250 wells in Texas and Louisiana with an average WI of 75 percent. The company's current areas of interest include: Eagle Ford Shale, Cline/Black Shale, Woodford, Woodbine, Bufkin Pettit, Travis Peak and proven, low-risk Cotton Valley. Buffco has participated in non-operated projects in TX, AR, AL, OK, and MT.
