Building Block Insurance PCC Ltd (BBI) is an insurance company based in Malta. Regulated by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA). We are licensed to write all classes of general insurance business and currently passport 18 classes of business into 6 European Economic Area (EEA) states, including the United Kingdom (UK). We work with a number of UK authorised intermediaries and appointed representatives to distribute our insurance products. We're also members of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme and the Association of British Insurers (ABI). As well as being an insurance company, we are also a Protected Cell Company (PCC) with a range of our own products, underwritten with our own capacity. We can work with clients to generate ideas for specialist products, helping with the design, pricing, build and testing phases. We also manage the distribution of products, and handle claims. As BBI is a protected cell company, we can also help clients access the benefits of captive insurance without the need to establish and maintain their own licensed insurance company.
