Cabarete Language Institute

Founded in 2007 by Wisconsin native and University of Wisconsin graduate Michelle Rahn, Cabarete Language Institute was created to bring high quality and personalized language instruction to the North Coast of the Dominican Republic. Since 2007 CLI has taught Spanish, English, French to hundreds of people from around the world. Through our Opportunities in English program we have had the opportunity to teach English to dozens of Dominicans who otherwise probably would not have had the chance to learn English at all. We cater to a diverse set of students. We have taught many children as little as age 5. We have done many intensive English programs for Dominicans and other foreigners getting ready to move to the US or another English speaking country. Kiteboarders and surfers looking for something extra to do on their vacation love CLI's ability to work with them to create a schedule that makes sense to them.
