MGP is a USA based manufacturing company located in San Diego, California. MGP incorporates technologies developed from the manufacturing of titanium, stainless steel and aluminum components for the Aerospace and Recreation Industries. MGP Caliper Covers is a culmination of these technologies and 30 years of engineering experience to bring a much needed addition to the automotive market. The challenge was to develop a high quality, form fitting brake caliper cover which could meet factory wheel clearances, fasten securely and keep installation simple. This endeavor required 4 years to engineer and develop. After experimenting with multiple fastening methods, it was confirmed that a vehicle specific clip and fastener system was the best way to go. The stainless steel fastening system is patent pending and the design is flexible across most modern day vehicle applications. MGP Caliper Covers are engineered and developed with highest manufacturing standards. There is a vast amount of technology and engineering behind each and every component. With the utilization of aerospace grade aluminum and stainless steel, MGP also utilizes CNC machining, hydraulic forming and TIG welding. Additionally, MGP Caliper Covers are tested regularly for safety and quality at the OEM level.
