Mr. Siva, who was a finalist at the Singapore Indian Entrepreneur 2004: Young Entrepreneur Award category sponsored by Singapore Indian Chamber and Commerce and DBS, said there were 'definitely' profits to be made with Caltek. The company is a certified laboratory which conducts testing and calibration of instruments for various industries. With Mr Siva's extensive experience in the industry and performing his role of a salesperson enabled Caltek's turnover to double almost every month during the start-up period. Caltek was awarded the ISO9001 certificate within its first year of operations.
