Camlas Petcare Vets Ltd offers a wide range of services covering every eventuality when seeking healthcare for your pet. This can range from complex operations, medical investigations, dental work and health examinations to flea, worm, dietary and other preventative healthcare advice. We offer consultations with, and procedures by the following visiting veterinary surgeons: Cardiology specialist: Rachel James MA VetMB CertSAM DVC MRCVS Dental specialist: David Crossley BVetMed PhD MRCVS FAVD DipEVDC We are also regular host to a visiting vet Rory Paton BVSc Cert AVP MRCVS whose main interest is in orthopaedic work. We take pain management seriously both in acute illnesses and to manage long term painful conditions such as arthritis. Acupuncture clinics have been held on a regular basis by Zoe Kirk BVM&S MRes BSc MRCVS who we are delighted to confirm will be working with us part time from the end of February 2014. Camlas Petcare Vets Ltd is a registered Veterinary Nurse Training Practice and our team of Registered Veterinary Nurses not only care for Welshpool area pets but also support Student Veterinary Nurses on their university placements. Our nurses are always on hand to provide you with advice to help keep your pet healthy. Our free weight management nurse clinics are always very popular. All our vets and nurses regularly complete training courses and attend conferences to ensure we keep up to date and can continue to evolve and develop the practice to help us offer the most modern veterinary care to your pet.
