Camp Verde Unified School District

The Camp Verde Unified School District is dedicated to creating a positive learning environment where our students have the greatest opportunities for present and future success. In order to further that mission, the District has chosen to move forward with a Solar Photovoltaic Covered Parking Structure project whose cost will be entirely funded by a third party financier and incentives that will be paid by APS Solar's Schools & Government program. The project will be engineered and constructed by AMERESCO under what is known as a Power Purchase Agreement where the only expense the District will be responsible for will be to pay for the electricity that is generated by the Solar Photovoltaic systems. There will be no capital cost for the District, no additional tax burden, and no impact to the District's bonding capacity. This work is scheduled to begin this fall with final completion to be done around the new year.
