CamTel is 100% owned by Cameroon government. CamTel is running Cameroon national backbone fiber transmission network and Fix network business. CamTel's as built national backbone fiber network, had interconnect with fiber network of neighborhood countries such as Nigeria and Central African Republic, and grown into a regional fiber network. CamTel aims to develop Cameroon into an international traffic HUB of Africa through Trans-border terrestrial cable and international submarine cables such as SAT-3, WACS, ACE, NCSCS, CBCS, etc.
