Candelore's Barking Beauties

The story and how this all happen is something that I just have to share. In January 2015 my Dad passed away and if you know Mr C. then you know this loss has been very difficult for myself and our family. Like they say when one door closes another door opens, that is exactly what happen here. My Daughter Kelsi Stanley Candelore and I were driving back to the Gilbert's funeral home to get her car after my dad's celebration of life dinner. She was telling me about her job and how much she loves being a groomer. So of course I ask are you working steady and are you making enough money? Her response was "I don't get enough hours", I said well maybe we can find a small spot and me and you can make something happen, of course she was excited and to be honest so was I. This was January 22nd 2015. The next day I called Dan Poirier and ask do you have any places available for a small grooming salon, he said meet me at Central Plaza and lets look at a couple options. Joe the Barber was successful here in this plaza for over 35 years and his old spot was available. I signed a 2 year lease having no idea what I was doing or how I was going to do it. I contacted my cousin Vincent Candelore (who has since passed away) and he put together what I think is the most magical business ever, he built the room and made things work, he had us up and running by March 7th 2015 and the doors open. My daughter Kelsi and opened up with no idea what to expect, who might show up, if anyone would show up, we had no idea if we would even get 1 guest, we had no idea at all. In the meantime my cousin Larry Mink contacted me everyday and worked with me on marketing and getting our message out. If you know my cousin Larry (who also passed away since getting us open) he is probably one of the top marketing people for many years,so as you can see we are surrounded by angels, we had help and we had the right help. My Dad, my cousin Vinnie, my cousin Larry are with us everyday guiding us and supporting us. So yes Candelore's Barking Beauties has had the help and guidance that is necessary not just today but everyday and our angels are with us everyday and we know this, we feel it. We have the best customers, the most supportive customers, we have some extra help with 3 beautiful angels watching over us everyday, it is truly a special and magical salon and business. We started with 0 customers and today I am proud to post that we now have over 9,000 guests that visit us often at our little salon in Elizabeth Township, Pa. we are growing at a rate of 25 to 30 new guests per week. Our guests come from our immediate area and from as far away from Erie, Cleveland, North Carolina and then closer areas like Uniontown, Monroeville, Greensburg, all of Rt 30, the Mon Valley, Washington County, etc....Of course our Elizabeth and surrounding area have really been the reason for our success and we thank you and promise you that we will always do our best to make you and your fur babies happy and satisfied, "Our Salon is Your Salon". It's hard for us not to just sit back and reflect on how many wonderful people and fur babies we have now met and are now part of our "Candelore's Barking Beauty Client List". Our goal is to improve everyday, to get better everyday and we will never be satisfied until you are satisfied. We are open everyday for your convenience, no appointment is needed, we will bath any size dog for just $20, we have 16 employees at our Elizabeth Salon and we just hired 10 more to open our 2nd location in White Oak around August 1st.
