Canon Press

For those of you new to us, Canon Press is one of the literature ministries of Christ Church, Moscow, Idaho. The other is Credenda/Agenda. We're a small-sized publisher of books and audio. We are dedicated to providing select literature to encourage faithfulness through the seasons of life. Along with a growing number of Christians, we at Canon share a deep appreciation for the glorious, world-changing truths of the Protestant Reformation, namely the ancient gospel of Jesus Christ. We are in general agreement with the confessional statements of classical Protestantism, such as the Westminster Confession and the Heidelberg Catechism. But too often, unlike the almost giddy joy of the early Protestants, modern conservative Protestants have trudged along, puff-lipped, like some humorless protest movement, ignoring Scripture's teaching that a full and good life includes not just doctrinal truth, but truth, beauty, and goodness. So our book selections try to reflect this exciting life that God has given us under the sun. As the wisest man said, "Go, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a merry heart; For God has already accepted your works.
