We currently operate seven vessels out of Castries Harbor, for sport fishing, whale and dolphin watching, snorkeling, sightseeing, and private cruises. The sport fishing business was started even further back by "BIG BILL" Hackshaw and then continued and run by his son Michael Hackshaw, known to all as CAPTAIN MIKE, who was just about the most flamboyant character St. Lucia has ever seen. His passion and enthusiasm for the sea has passed onto his twin sons Andrew and Bruce Hackshaw, who now run the company. Although our company has expanded it is still small and able to give our customers the most personalized of services. Family run for three generations, we at Captain Mike's put our wealth of experience to good use, focusing on maintaining the highest levels of guest satisfaction and combining this with a genuine passion for sports fishing and marine activities, that means we are always on the forefront, pushing boundaries to ensure that our guests receive the best fishing or boating experience. Our commitment to the maritime experience means that our boats are always rigorously maintained, and all our vessels and equipment meet and exceed both local and international safety requirements. Our Captains and crew are highly qualified and experienced, with a certified emergency medical responder and rescue swimmer always on board. Our boats are always fully stocked and supplied for our trips and tours. Our refreshments include a variety of soft drinks, water, beer and rum punch. Our passion for fishing means that our boats are rigged to tournament standard with Penn International and Shimano rods and reels, and a variety of artificial and fresh bait sure to delight any angler.
