Established in 1964 by Múcio de Souza Rezende, in the city of Maringá, Paraná State, Brazil, Caramuru Group belongs today to the Borges de Souza family. Guided by a strong entrepreneurship spirit and focus on the quality of our products, we have grown, we explored new niches, we have consolidated ourselves in the market and became the leading Brazilian group in processing soybean, corn, sunflower and canola. The Caramuru Group also stands out for its products and grains transport logistics, with heavy investments in the Port of Santos and Port of Tubarão, in railroads and the Tietê-Paraná waterway, favoring the use of multimodal transport and decreasing operational costs. With a strong presence in the states of Goiás, Paraná, Mato Grosso and São Paulo, the company has consolidated itself in important economic segments including animal and industrial products, consumer products, commodities, biodiesel and logistics. Through several natural product lines made from soy, corn, sunflower and canola, we serve customers from different regions of Brazil. We also supply raw materials for manufacturers of pasta, biscuits, snacks, cornflakes and other segments, such as breweries, mining companies and the feed industry.
