Cardoza Plumbing Corp. is a full service plumbing company, which operates within the five boroughs of New York City. We have been providing plumbing installation and renovations for Commercial Buildings, Institutions and Hospitals since our inception in September of 1999. We are a minority business enterprise and we are certified by The City of New York, The port Authority of NY & NJ, Dormitory Authority State of NY and Empire State of NY. Cardoza Plumbing Corp. is a privately held corporation, owned and operated by Mr. Raymond Cardoza (President and NYC Master Plumber) and Marie Morena Pontillo (Vice President and NYC Master Plumber). Our sales volume of work for the past 3 years has totaled approximately 35 million dollars per year and this year will exceed 30 million. Our bonding capacity is 100 Million Dollars Aggregate and 60 Million Dollars Single Project. A surety letter is available upon request. Current projects include New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Long Island Jewish Medical Center Women's Hospital, Fordham University Law School, Long Island Jewish Zucker Psych Center and Mount Sinai Medical Center Center for Science and Medicine as well as numerous projects at NYU Medical Center, Memorial Sloan-Kettering, Columbia University and NY Eye & Ear Hospital for Joint Disease. Our current backlog is approximately 15 Million Dollars. Our largest single completed project to date was The Rockefeller University Collaborative Research Center, with a contract value of $12,900,000.00 and currently still in progress The Long Island Jewish Women's Hospital at $13,500,000.00 expected completion this summer and The Mount Sinai Center for Science and Medicine at $14,150,000.00 expected completion end of 2012. In addition, we have Joint Ventured to build Citifield Stadium with a contract value of 26 Million Dollars and Beekman Tower contract value of $24,429,700.00. Most recently, we have been contracted as Trade Managers in a design assist role for North Shore Long Island Jewish West Wing Annex in Manhasset, a 215,000 square foot state of the art Neurological Center complete with advanced Operating Rooms, Recovery Areas, Central Sterile Processing, Pre-op, Peri-op as well as Critical Care Services. Our second recently awarded contract as Trade Managers is a design assist project as well with North Shore Long Island Jewish named The Lenox Hill Comprehensive Care Medical Facility located in Manhattan and consisting of three medical floors, inclusive of an Emergency Department, Ambulatory Surgery Space, diagnostic imaging as well as physician practicing offices and Exam Rooms. Both projects require extensive trade manager experience, BIM 3D capability, knowledge of materials, methods, the use of advanced tools and equipment as well as capability to streamline plumbing to reduce costs while yielding same results. Our ability to provide this service has become increasingly recognized in the industry and has enabled us to secure projects in this tough economic and competitive market. Lastly, we have had additional trade manager experience directly associated with New York-Presbyterian Hospital and Peter Romano Associates in building both The Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital and The Milstein Family Heart Center, both extensive and complicated plumbing projects. Our company is widely known throughout the industry as one of the leaders in hospital and institution plumbing work. We have a vast knowledge and working experience with specialty source equipment such as Reverse Osmosis Systems, Lab and Medical Vacuum and Air Systems, Gas Manifolds (Oxygen, N2O, etc), Acid Waste and Vent Systems, Neutralization Systems and specialty gases such as Helium, Argon or Nitrogen. Our skilled workforce begins with our foremen who are highly adept in this type of work continuing through to our journeyman plumbers that are trained and are certified craftsman by the Local Union #1 trade school, company held seminars as well as various specific manufacturer training sessions for specialties. In addition, our Project Manager's will oversee all installations, coordination and schedule manpower and equipment so that even the most aggressive schedules can be met. They will manage the project from pre-construction planning to close out and commissioning. Our owners are hands on in the business and are ready, willing and able to assist and/or respond to any need, or concern of the General Contractor, Construction Manager or Developer. We can provide personnel to review the conductibility and meet the needs/requirements for completing all plumbing systems, based on our knowledge and experience. We can provide personnel to refine the estimation of drawings as they are issued from DD through CD, tracking changes and their associated costs. We will provide systematic analysis to identify Value Engineering alternatives for design, materials, equipment and installation. Lastly, we will provide personnel to procure equipment to meet the construction schedule. Ultimately we want to build without incurring costs or scheduling premiums, while still providing a quality end product. Our staff is large enough to handle any size project and small enough to provide personal attention.
