CARGO Therapeutics develops CAR T-cell therapy to overcome cancer treatment resistance and address access barriers so that more patients can benefit from potentially curative therapies. The company is on a mission to outwit cancer by developing chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies. Despite commercially available autologous CARs advancements, these treatments are curative for less than half of all cancer patients. Furthermore, far too many patients are unable to access these potentially curative therapies due to other obstacles such as manufacturing, supply constraints, long turnaround times, and reimbursement barriers.
