Caribbean Casas is a subsidiary of Catalunya Casas, a Barcelona-based vacation rental agency operating in Spain since 2005 and with local Caribbean offices in Cuba and Dominican Republic. We are a dedicated vacation villa rental agency who pride ourselves on personalised and exceptional service, specialising in villas and apartments in locations where our guests have the opportunity to enjoy and experience the real culture of their sun-filled destinations. Our mission is to offer guests an original 'unhotel' like experience that includes hand-picked, personally managed exclusive properties and additional services that are not available on traditional tourist routes (private in-villa catering services, local attraction discounts, hiking/biking/hidden treasure tours, wine/chocolate/local delicacy tastings), all with experienced, local, and bilingual personnel who love their jobs! As we are unbiased in our opinions, we make it our duty to ensure you choose the perfect villa for your vacation and are always happy to advise on any detail of your property preference. We have strict maintenance and quality standards, and are registered with the regional property agents association (API 6002) so you can be ensured of a reliable, trustworthy, and dedicated service. The `Casas´ brand was created by Janet Dawn Buckler, a dual Canadian/British citizen. Ms. Buckler has worked internationally in various aspects of the tourism industry for the past 15 years and has brought her experience and expertise to the vacation rental sector of the Caribbean. "When I travel, I have no desire to visit the popular tourist destinations - I very much want to integrate and experience the true culture. Living among the locals and adapting to and learning their ways of life is very important to me. I figured that if I was drawn to 'off the beaten track' experiences, then surely there must be other families who desired the same - even for a brief vacation. Hence, Caribbean Casas was born.
