Carlyle operates 45 vans and 3 lorries supplying parts and glass from its 6 depots to operators throughout the UK and Ireland. Carlyle's dedicated distribution hub, alongside the central motorway network, supplies strategically located branches throughout the UK. Branches are currently sited in Birmingham, Bristol, London, Glasgow, Manchester and Dublin. Each branch is re-stocked overnight by the company's own fleet of lorries. In addition our customised delivery vans deliver direct to customers throughout the UK and Ireland, supported by VOR carrier services, to help minimise coach and bus downtime. One of the best known names in the specialist supply of parts to the bus and coach industry, Carlyle Bus & Coach Limited has a pedigree that goes back far beyond the formation of the company in its current guise in 1990 to the time when Carlyle Works was the engineering headquarters of the Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company (better known as the Midland Red,) the second biggest operator in the country and builder of its own buses. The company still has models of some of those innovative in-house bus designs but while full sized BMMO buses have largely faded into history, Carlyle Bus & Coach has remained at the forefront of the efficient and cost-effective supply of parts to customers.
