Casa Cornelia Law Center

Casa Cornelia's Inn of Court* is dedicated to promoting and supporting the mission of Casa Cornelia - to address the critical legal needs of human and civil rights violations. To this end, the Inn of Court engages in various activities, including: communicating Casa Cornelia's goals and programs to the greater legal community; engaging volunteers, supporters, and donors; promoting Casa Cornelia's annual La Mancha Awards; organizing social events; organizing MCLE programs; publishing Casa Cornelia's periodic newsletter; and working to improve resources for Casa Cornelia's volunteer attorneys. The following is a list of those who may join the Inn of Court: (1) volunteer attorneys who represented a Casa Cornelia client; (2) attorneys who would otherwise like to affiliate with Casa Cornelia; (3) law students who have volunteered for Casa Cornelia; and (4) interpreters and translators who have volunteered for Casa Cornelia. Membership is free, and the benefits are many, including opportunities to network with like-minded peers, access to MCLE programs, and above all, making a difference by furthering Casa Cornelia's mission. The Inn of Court is governed by a Committee of Benchers, which acts as a steering committee and works in close concert with Casa Cornelia's staff.
