Downpatrick Surgery

Castle Veterinary Group is a two centre 10 vet practice catering for all animals both large and small. We have surgeries in both Castlewellan and Downpatrick. Both of which have been purpose built. Castlewellan was opened in 1997 and our new premises in Downpatrick opened in May 2015. Both surgeries are equipped with state of the art operating theatres, diagnostic imaging suites and medical laboratories with in house blood testing facilities, endoscopy and ECG machines. Why not come an visit our new modern state of the art premises We are proud that both our surgeries have been accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) as small animal general practice at Tier 2 level. This is the highest standard for pet veterinary practice and involves a detailed inspection of a practice which is then classified accordingly. Our farm and equine practice is extensive and covers a large part of South Down. We pride ourselves on the quality care we provide and constantly update our services.
