Cat Depot
Cat Depot is a free-roaming, no-kill, adoption shelter whose mission is to save lives, find loving homes and provide the resources and education to improve the destiny of homeless cats. Cat Depot houses over 125 cats and kittens on any day in its state-of-the art 10,000 sq. ft. facility. More than 700 visitors ranging in age from small children to seniors visit Cat Depot every month. Visitors are welcome to socialize with the kitties, browse our gift shop and learn about proper handling, reading cat signals, leash walking, clicker training, food motivation, and basic 101 cat care. Two volunteer training classes are offered monthly, and each class delivers positive messaging and basic, critical cat care information. In the summer months, Cat Depot offers Critter Camp for children in grades 2 - 5. Camp learning experiences include safety, how not to get bit, kindness to animals, and what to do when you find a stray animal. The sharing of knowledge is universal, and hopefully, the more than 8,425 visitors who visit Cat Depot every year will take away knowledge that will benefit all animals. Cat Depot is open to the public 7 days a week: Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
