Cavalla Resources
Cavalla Resources is a privately owned, junior iron ore company that has been actively engaged in the exploration and development of iron ore projects in the highly prospective, underexplored areas of Liberia, West Africa, since 2007. In October 2015 Cavalla Resources acquired all of BHP Billiton's iron ore interests in Liberia giving the company the scale and capability to be a significant, low-cost, and sustainable producer in West Africa. The company's principal project, Goe Fantro, is wholly-owned and located 70km from the port of Buchanan. The project, expected to come into production in 2018, is under an existing Mineral Development Agreement ("MDA") with the Government of Liberia.
