The Commercial Dispatch
The Commercial Dispatch is the family-owned daily newspaper of Columbus, Mississippi. It was created from the merger of two older papers, the Commercial and the Dispatch, in 1922. The Commercial Dispatch is published six days a week (no edition is produced on Saturday). On June 8, 2009 The Starkville Dispatch- also a daily newspaper- was launched. The Starkville Dispatch is available for free distribution at the company's rack locations throughout Starkville and Mississippi State. The current editor and publisher is Birney Imes III.
