Central Networks

Central Networks is the company resulting from the merger between East Midlands Electricity and Midlands Electricity. We are a distribution network operator within the UK's electricity industry. We are responsible for the delivery of a reliable supply of electricity to 4.9 million customers across the East and West Midlands. The Central Networks distribution area covers the Midlands region from the Lincolnshire coast to the Welsh borders and from the Peak District to Gloucestershire. We have around 2,400 employees in Central Networks and are working towards operating a centrally managed regionally delivered business model. Our Central Offices are located at Pegasus and Tipton and they are supported by 7 Delivery Centres: Gloucester, Hinckley, Moorgreen, Sleaford, Stoke, Tipton and Worcester.
