Cercare Medical
Cercare Medical is a software company founded in 2013 as a spinout of the CFIN/MINDlab center at Aarhus University Hospital. It builds on 20 years of research by Professor Leif Østergaard and Professor Kim Mouridsen, aiming at accelerating clinical routines by implementing the latest technologies based on scientific research. Cercare Medical continues to have strong ties to both the center and Aarhus University Hospital. Cercare Medical has developed and patented several innovative technologies that provide rapid and reliable biomarker analysis and decision support based on a wide range of MR and CT data input. The current CE-approved product portfolio consists of modules for the automated assessment of brain capillary function in a wide range of neurological diseases as well as decision support in acute ischemic stroke. In 2018 Cercare Medical partnered up with Siemens Healthineers to launch its state-of-the-art AI-based decision support and perfusion imaging solution - Cercare Medical Neurosuite - on syngo.via OpenApps.
