Chaloklum Diving

We must start with an apology, but it always happens when we get busy; we focus on running a safe, efficient diving school rather than keeping up the flow of scintillating dive blogs! But Koh Phangan is a quieter island at the moment and so we have time to catch up with things. Such as starting our boat boy on the Padi system of diver education - Gavin finally got to take our younger boat boy, Nong Lek, for a Discover Scuba Diving session in Chaloklum Bay, from which they emerged with beaming smiles and a commitment to complete Lek's Open Water Diver course. Well done both of you, and the very best of luck with the English/Burmese/Thai dive theory to come. We've had nice diving and snorkelling conditions at our local dive sites, but Sail Rock has been affected by the south easterly wind for a few days, so we made an enjoyable dive trip to Koh Tao yesterday, with appearances from a couple of turtles and Shark Island looking lovely.
