Chatham Hall is a leader in girls' education. The School strives to inspire integrity, academic excellence and global perspective in tomorrow's leaders. Chatham Hall, an independent, all-girls boarding and day high school located in Chatham, Virginia, has earned since its founding in 1894 a national and international reputation for its broad and strong college-preparatory program and its global educational community. At the center of the School is its honor code and strong Episcopal heritage. Its alumnae have earned positions of prominence in politics, business, education, medicine, engineering, and the arts, including the renowned painter Georgia O'Keeffe and Pulitzer Prize winning poet Claudia Emerson. Chatham Hall's unique programming includes annual service trips to South Africa and Cuba, the iPad Program, and the Leader-in-Residence Program, which brings world leaders to campus to meet with students.
