The Mission of Checotah Public Schools Is To Prepare Our Students To Be Capable, Contributing Participants In A Changing World. As constant changes in technology, economy, industry, and general population create new levels of knowledge and skill requirements, our district must anticipate change and teach each child what they need to know to be successful. Our district's instructional program is focused on strong instructional leadership, clear school missions, emphasis on basic skills, high teacher expectations for student success, frequent monitoring of student progress, and emphasis on a safe and orderly educational environment.
