Cheema Spintex Limited, a highly dynamic organization is located in Punjab, a geographic locale in Northern India, which is well known for growing one of the finest cotton crops. We would like to introduce ourselves as a unit of upcoming "Cheema Group" which started its maiden venture in 1981 by incorporating "Cheema Paper Mills Pvt. Ltd. For manufacturing Kraft paper. Another company was added to the group in 1988 by the name of "Cheema Paper Boards Pvt. Ltd.", to manufacture Duplex Board. In view of the growth both these companies were merged into one in 1995 and re-christened as "Cheema Papers Limited" as the company went public. The group went for a major expansion in the Duplex Board Division by adding a Coating plant to the Duplex Board unit with the state of art machinery. The project cost was US $ 10 millions. After the expansion, the production has increased to 150 tons per day, with the turnover reaching 25 millions and net profit of more than US $ 1.50 millions. The group has further grown by diversifying into Spinning and setting up a 100% export oriented unit, "Cheema Spintex Limited" having an installed capacity of 31000 spindles at Lalru, Distt. Patiala (Punjab) to manufacture 100% cotton combed and carded yarn in counts between Ne 20s to Ne 40s. We are using the state of art Technology and installed latest machines from Rieter & Zellweger Uster & Xorella, Switzerland, LTG Ameliorar, France and Savio, Italy. We have got highly qualified and motivated team of technicians, confident of achieving yarn-parameters between 5% and 10% Uster Standards. The group with a total turnover of about US $ 42 millions, is poised for growth to establish itself as the market leader in its fields of operations.
