Chelsom are consummate professionals when it comes to showcasing the latest lighting designs at various international exhibitions, however most recently it was the turn of the furniture side of the business to excel when Chelsom made their debut at the Midpoint furniture exhibition which took place in the Midlands from 18th-19th June. The Chelsom stand, located in the heart of the exhibition, had excellent footfall for both days. The presentation generated a great deal of interest across the board and key buyers from all the major retailers, who all come together for this important date in the furniture industry calendar, came to view the Chelsom offer. Furniture Director, Mike Ledger, headed up the team who were on hand to showcase the most popular designs from the current portfolio and visitors to the stand were welcomed with an exclusive preview of some of the new and exciting products which will feature in the new Chelsom furniture catalogue to be launched in Autumn 2013. The main thrust of the exhibition was to present an exciting new collection of high quality design led stainless steel furniture, exclusive to Chelsom in the UK, and these models were received with great acclaim. Not only did Chelsom secure a sizable number of orders directly from the show for both their furniture and lighting ranges, but it also provided an excellent opportunity to obtain feedback and gauge interest where the new lines were concerned. Chelsom had a fantastic response overall and the team were delighted with their success at the show, Furniture Director Mike Ledger said 'This was our most successful launch in my time with Chelsom, and with the state of the economic climate being in the forefront of industry concern, the positive response to our new collections, prove that if you can develop good quality designs at a competitive price the market will always respond'.
