Cherokee Builders, Inc. was established in 1995 with a primary focus of site clearing, grading, excavation, asphalt paving, concrete paving, curb & gutter, site utilities, and specialty concrete structures specific to site work. Cherokee Builders management team have a combined 420 years of construction experience in all phases of construction and have a unique understanding of what clients need and aggressive ways to accomplish projects based on well-rounded construction experiences. Cherokee Builders mission is to provide comprehensive site work package contracting to General Contractors, Developers, Department of Transportation, City, and State entities and Private individuals or to break down these same services in many other forms to suit project requirements. Cherokee Builders goal is to assist our clients with the success of their project and be a beneficial partner in the construction activities that expedite the project towards timely completion and achievement of schedule goals and budget objectives. Cherokee Builders is a leader in our industry with our sincere commitment to safety. We feel our actions speak for our attitude and we continually enforce our policies on our personnel and others whom we work around. Our Managers are required to have a minimum of an OSHA 30 Hour Certification and be a competent person in their specific area of expertise. We hold training sessions for our work force and during the past year there were 32 comprehensive Jobsite Safety Audits by our Safety Consultants of our workforce, 160 Hours of Training provided to Supervisors, 400 Hours of training provided to Field Workers through Weekly Jobsite Tool Box meeting and specific training topics specialized to inform everyone of the many hazards of our industry. Cherokee also understands the importance of cooperating with our Owners, Developers, General Contractors, Construction Managers and other Subcontractors to provide a safe environment for the entire jobsite. Currently our experience modifier is .82. Cherokee Builders employs approximately 140 individuals who are an important part of our current and future success. These individuals work long hours around various site conditions and obstructions to support our company and our clients. Cherokee Builders has been recognized by organizations for the quality and aggressive nature in which we perform our scope of work and are active participants in the Association of General Contractors and Associated Builders and Contractors organizations. Cherokee Builders strives to solve construction needs and problems with the least amount of inconvenience as possible to our clients. Cherokee Builders believes that our reputation and successes stand for themselves on the number of repetitive clients that have hired us to perform for them again and again. Repeat business through successful endeavors is a goal and objective. We ask our clients to judge us by what we finish not by what we start.
