Compañía Nacional de Chocolates
On April 12, 1920, in the city of Medellín, Colombia, a group of Antioquian visionaries founded "Compañía Nacional de Chocolates" (in English National Chocolate Company). At first, it was named Compañía de Chocolates Cruz Roja (Red-Cross Chocolate Company) after small local producers joined this venture. During the following years, we were able to consolidate our company improving production processes and renewing our factories located in Cali, Bogotá and Medellín and installing a new factory in Bucaramanga. Since then, we have established solid foundations for our development including popular brands, technological progress, a service vocation, and a proximity to clients and consumers.
