Instead, he left his family's bakery and managed the bakery at Family Express for about a year. Chuck then decided he wanted to start working in sales. He took a position selling life insurance and other financial products. He found he really enjoyed this work. It was an honor to be invited into people's homes, meet their families, understand their goals, and develop a plan supported by the right products to protect what the family has and drive their finances towards meeting their goals. After a while, Chuck wanted to start working with more business owners. He decided to change fields and begin selling telecommunications services and hardware. During this time he had the opportunity to meet hundreds of small and medium business owners locally and understand what their business was trying to achieve. Along the way, he befriended John Marx, owner of JM2 Webdesigners & Marketing in Valparaiso and begin working with him as well.
