The City of Goose Creek

The City of Goose Creek provides sanitation service to each residence once a week. It is our goal to provide you with the best possible sanitation service. We ask that you follow these guidelines to assist us in achieving that goal. All refuse and debris must be: Properly containerized (No unauthorized containers will be emptied) Placed curbside for collection by 7 a.m. the day of collection (Trucks will not return for containers placed for pick-up late) Sorted by type (refer to sorting your trash) The City provides one green roll-cart to each residence for household garbage. Residents are allowed to pay a one-time fee for one additional cart. The fee may be paid at City Hall. The serial number on the cart has been recorded and is assigned to a specific address. Please record your serial number on the front of this brochure to assist you in keeping up with your cart. Green roll carts remain the property of the City. Brown roll-carts for yard debris disposal may be purchased at City Hall. Brown yard debris carts are the property of the resident. Do Not overload the roll-cart - Whenever possible, break down boxes and crush plastic containers.
