The Centre opened its doors on July 13, 2017. Located on the third floor of the IPED Building, 253-254 South Road, Georgetown, the Centre's Mission is to engage Guyanese businesses through the supplier registration portal (SRP), mentorship and provision of information on the Oil and Gas sector through training and seminars. Some of the Services offered by the Centre include: Oil and Gas Seminars (Introduction to the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry, Health, Safety, Security and the Environment (HSSE)-Modules 1 and 2 and Procurement Processes- Modules 1, 2 (EOIs & RFIs) and 3 (RFPs). Business Training (Supply Chain Management, Financial Management and Human Resource Management) Information and Linkage Support to ExxonMobil Guyana, Prime Contractors and local Companies.
