Clean Power Markets, Inc. was founded in 2000 by nationally recognized experts in energy markets and renewable generation. Since then, Clean Power Markets has provided the infrastructure at the wholesale level for the renewable power market to accurately track and verify green power transactions for compliance with renewable portfolio standards; green (or renewable) energy trades in regulated and deregulated electricity markets; and electricity disclosure requirements by states, regions, or green-e. Clean Power Markets became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Comverge, Inc. in 2007.
