The core business in 1978 matched the name: Initially, Chicago Parts & Sounds stood for: Chicago - Serving the Chicago Metropolitan Dealerships Parts - Wholesale Distribution of Auto Parts and Shop Supplies Sound - Sales and Service of Automotive Radios Much has changed over the past 30 years, though we remain singularly focused on serving car dealerships with profitable and quality products and services. Today we are known more by our acronym - CPS - because: No longer limited to Chicago - We are now serving over 1,000 Clients located in 9 States. Still about parts - We continue to serve as a Wholesale Distributor of Motorcraft® and other OEM quality Auto Parts and Supplies. More than just sound - These days, our accessories go far beyond auto radios, and include virtually any type of automotive accessory that would be offered through a car dealership. Thanks to our experience in electronics, CPS has earned a uniquely strong reputation for our ability to install and service a wide range of electronic accessories. The CPS team of over 125 employees operating out of 8 locations in the Great Lakes region are fully dedicated to helping our clients build and grow their businesses profitably. Based on our success in helping car dealerships build accessories profit centers within their dealerships, CPS has developed a unique business in driving the sale of OEM accessories through franchised dealers. This success has resulted in CPS achieving continually greater relationship responsibilities working with Ford Motor Company as an exclusive distributor & representative of Ford's Genuine and Licensed Accessories. Today, CPS drives over $70 million in annual sales of Ford Accessories. CPS Restyling offers dealerships an opportunity to match their customer's demands with the dealer's inventory while increasing dealership profitability.
